Will Smith to churn out sequels of Men In Black, Independence Day and... ugh, Hancock.

Well, apparently Will Smith is going to have a full schedule of sequel churning for the next several years.  Rumor has it that Mr. Smith will be starring in one, or maybe even two sequels of Independence Day.  I have to be completely honest here… I’m excited to hear this.  The first movie, while not a contender for “best movie of the year” was fully entertaining and epic.  I welcome a sequel, or two even.

On a less exciting note, he may have signed up for another Hancock movie.  One question… why?  The “original” was, what’s the word… crap.  Leave bad enough alone, that’s what I say.  I have a good idea for the sequel, and it goes like this – bury the original in the ground and leave it at that.

There is also a third Men In Black film confirmed that will not only star Will Smith, but Tommy Lee Jones as well.  Let’s hope they can make the 3^rd much, MUCH better than the “whole lot of crap” 2^nd.  Let’s hope…
